GET LUCKY.

My partnership with Lucky Energy began only 6 months after their launch, and my contribution has spanned the gamut from packaging to social to OOH to activations. My contributions to the brand helped Lucky close an oversubscribed series A funding round, bringing their total funding to $26.5M in just 12 months.

PROJECT 01 – Can Redesign – My best bud and frequent collaborator
Alex Lang brought me in while in the process of rebranding Lucky Energy. I redesigned Lucky’s cans to include 2 front faces, a streamlined NFP & strategic flavor cues as part of a move from 19.2oz to 16oz. I also created artwork for 2 new flavors: Rizzberry & Cream and Son of a Peach, designed to fit with the existing core 5 flavors.

PROJECT 02 – NACS 2024 – At Lucky’s core is the founder’s story – he survived the crash of Delta Flight 191 in 1985, which killed 136 people, including his father. One could call him pretty lucky. We showed up to NACS 2024 with the Lucky Energy International Airport and gave trade show goers a throwback airport lounge experience they wouldn’t soon forget. I skinned architecture assembled by 760 Display and designed collateral to compliment the experience, including airline pins, lounge menus, ashtrays, light-boxed posters, passport notebooks and an accompanying passport photo booth.
