CELEBRATING THIRTEEN YEARS OF GOOD LUCK & HARD WORK

To celebrate their thirteenth anniversary, Austin Beerworks brewed up an Experimental Black IPA that called for an experimental black can design. The number thirteen conjured up some tattoo-centric imagery, so I whipped up several custom illustrations that were applied to the can via a knocked-out, opaque white base, creating a low contrast metallic effect.

In addition, I assembled some merch for the anniversary party with which I also sought some experimental finishes – black on black for one and opaque white on tie dye for the other.
